Jon-Paul Croom
Interim CEO
Walton Regional Medical Center has announced Jon-Paul Croom as its Interim CEO at the hospital located in Monroe, Georgia. Croom has been serving as Chief Operating Officer at WRMC since August, 2009.
Croom relocated to Monroe after a four-year stint as the Chief Operating Officer for Roxborough Memorial Hospital, a 137-bed community hospital, in Philadelphia. Prior to his position in Pennsylvania, Croom served as an associate administrator for the Tenet Healthcare Central-Northeast Southern States Region Commitment to Quality team. In this role, he led process and quality improvement initiatives within eleven for-profit hospitals. Prior to this position, Croom managed contracts and leasing at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, AL.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from Mercer University in Macon, GA in 1996, Croom went on to complete a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2000, and a Masters of Science in Healthcare Administration from that university in 2001.

I look forward to working with our Medical Staff and HMA as we continue to expand our services,” said Croom. “Since arriving here in August, we have grown very fond of our community and its welcoming hospitality. I look forward to being a part of increasing the healthcare resources for the people of Walton County.”
Raised in Vicksburg, MS, Croom currently resides in Monroe, GA with his wife Millicent and their two sons.
Walton Regional Medical Center is a 77-bed licensed, acute-care hospital located in Monroe. WRMC serves as a Level III Trauma Center, performs thousands of ambulatory surgeries annually, and works closely with a medical staff of over 150 physicians to provide healthcare to the people in the Walton County area.
