POSITION SUMMARY: The Environmental Services Asst. Manager plans, organizes and directs the functions of the Environmental Services and Laundry Departments. He/she makes certain that the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation is maintained at all times. This is a working manager and will require one to perform environmental services aide duties daily.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School graduate or equivalent. Must have a minimum of four years experience in a supervisory capacity in a medium to large service oriented industry/service. Healthcare experience preferred. Must be knowledgeable of housekeeping practices, procedures and guidelines. Exhibits an attitude that promotes harmony and goodwill in the workplace. Requires good physical health with frequent standing, walking and sitting; must be able to function effectively under stressful situations.
