Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:  The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/CRTT) is responsible for providing, safe, competent, and ethical  cardiopulmonary services for all patients.  
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Graduate of an AMA recognized school of Respiratory Therapy or a Registered Respiratory Therapist or a Certified Respiratory Therapist as credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Must have a current valid Respiratory Care Practitioners Certificate as issued by the Georgia Composite State Board.  BCLS required; ACLS, NRP, PALS, or BTLS preferred.  Must be able to walk, stand, be on feet, bend for extended periods of time and lift, pull, push and move patients and/or heavy objects; ability to work well under stress.
