Welcome to Walton Regional Medical Center
The new campus of Walton Regional Medical Center is under construction now just off of Spring Street in Monroe. Scheduled to open in Spring 2012, the new hospital features state-of-the-art technology, enhanced patient rooms, and a more convenient location for patients from the area. Walton Regional Medical Center is accredited by The Joint Commission, which demonstrates to the patients and community the highest quality medical care in Walton County. We are also a member of the Georgia Hospital Association.
Walton Regional Medical Center, a 77 licensed bed facility, provides general medical and surgical care for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patients, and participates in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. We are a regional medical center with one hospital campus and more than 75 active physicians. Emergency room services are available on a 24-hour per day, seven-day per week basis. Walton Regional Medical Center’s medical staff is comprised of more than 100 active physicians. Their areas of specialization include: anesthesiology, cardiology, emergency medicine, gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology, obstetrics, ophthalmology, orthopedics, otolaryngology (ears/nose/throat), pathology, pediatrics, plastic, pulmonology, and reconstructive surgery, podiatry, radiology, sleep medicine and urology.
